Bars and Restaurants at Riu Palace Mexico, Playa Del Carmen

The Riu Palace Mexico Resort offers sumptuous buffet-style dining for breakfast, lunch and dinner with a choice of indoor, air-conditioned or outdoor terrace dining. Elaborate buffets offer a wide variety of choices with show cooking stations. International a la carte dining venues including a new bodega-style eatery and the gourmet Krystal Restaurant are available for lunch and/or dinner. A new venue features coffee, pastries and ice cream. Outdoor bars offer snacks throughout the day and into the night along with your favorite beverages. Live shows and special theme nights are presented six days a week.

RESTAURANTS

Restaurant Don Julian
This is the hotel's main restaurant, offering elaborate buffets with show cooking stations for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Don Julian is air-conditioned and offers both smoking and non-smoking sections with gorgeous views of the lush grounds and pools. Special evenings feature theme buffets three times a week.

La Bodega Restaurant
Mexican specialty restaurant. Open daily for lunch and dinner, featuring buffet starters, à la carte menu and desserts. Dine within view of the ocean, under the shade of a beautiful coconut palm grove.

La Dolce Vita
This is the other beachfront venue here, featuring Italian cuisine. Open daily for lunch and dinner, offering buffet starters and à la carte service. Enjoy an ocean view while feasting on Italian fare.

Guacamole Beach Restaurant
Beach restaurant, grill and steak house. Open nightly for dinner only. Resort casual dress required.

Miyagi
One of the newest offerings at the Riu Palace Mexico, this beautiful Japanese restaurant offers fantastic à la carte specialties at dinner nightly. Resort casual dress required.

Krystal Restaurant
The gourmet à la carte Krystal restaurant combines contemporary decor with more upscale, fusion cooking; menus combine ingredients from different countries. Open for dinner.

Capuchino
Patisserie and ice cream parlor serving coffees and pastries and refreshing frozen delights!

In-room Liquor Dispensers
A trademark of Riu Resorts is the ingenious in-room liquor dispenser! Offering a variety of four different liquors, the dispenser is restocked regularly. If you would like to replace a certain type of liquor with one more to your liking, just advise the front desk! In Mexico, the dispensers typically offer two types of tequila, vodka and rum. If you would prefer gin, bourbon, etc. - just ask!
