Dreams Playa Esmeralda Resort & Spa offers eight gourmet dining options, including six à la carte restaurants, a buffet, a café, a grill by the beach and an ice cream parlor. No reservations are required. All restaurant openings rotate throughout the week. The number of restaurants open for each meal is dependent upon occupancy levels.

Gluten-Free Dining Options
Dreams Playa Esmeralda offers a gluten-free menu at each of its restaurants. If you are allergic to gluten, please notify the resort in advance, as well as your waiter, so the resort can personalize your meals according to your tastes.

Dress Codes
Casual – Bermudas, long shorts or capri pants. Sneakers, tennis shoes or sandals. No sleeveless shirts for men. No bathing suits. Ladies must wear a bathing suit wrap or cover-up.

Casual Elegance – Sneakers, tennis shoes or dress sandals (no flip-flops). Dress shirts with sleeves. Long pants required for men. No sleeveless shirts for men.

BARS
Dreams Playa Esmeralda offers seven bars and lounges including a pool bar for Preferred Club guests only. Bars and lounges all serve top-shelf spirits and range from a swim-up bar to a nightly music lounge.

As part of the privileges of Unlimited-Luxury®, guests of Dreams Playa Esmeralda have the chance to Sip, Savor & See at participating sister properties in the region. Enjoy dinner and live entertainment at neighboring sister resorts, including sipping complimentary cocktails, savoring delicious cuisine at the restaurant of your choice and the opportunity to see that evening’s entertainment. The Sip, Savor & See Dining Experience is available for dinner only. This is not a day pass. Guests must arrange through the resort concierge. Guests may choose to dine at any of the restaurants that are serving dinner. Guests are responsible for cost of transportation to and from the resort. A maximum of 4 people are allowed per seating. Special restrictions may apply for Christmas and New Year’s Eve dinners and special events.

For your honeymoon, wedding anniversary or when you just decide to have a very special dinner with your sweetheart or friend, the staff at Dreams Playa Esmeralda can set a spectacular private dinner for your party, with a delicious menu, served exclusively at one of a selection of appointed spots. This special dinner is served only by advance reservation through the concierge.
