Activities and Recreations at Catalonia Royal Bavaro, Playas de Bávaro, Punta Cana

Guests can take advantage of a daily program of activities, led by professionals with a seemingly endless list of entertainment ideas, including petanque, archery, beach volleyball, aerobics, aquagym and nightly shows in the open-air theatre. Plus two large freeform pools and magnificent white-sand beach provide plenty of space for relaxing, sunning or water sports, sunbeds for catching the perfect tan and umbrellas for a break in the cool shade.

Guests will find tennis, biking, sauna and a gymnasium offer the perfect way to stay in shape on vacation. Merengue lessons and native painting classes are available, for those seeking fun with a little taste of culture. Non-motorized water sports include kayaking, windsurfing, sailing, canoeing, snorkeling gear and a complimentary introductory scuba lesson in the pool. (Extra charge for night play tennis.)

Golf
One Green Fee per guests per day is INCLUDED. Green fees are non-transferrable. The use of a golf cart is mandatory (golf cart fees vary seasonally). Golf clubs are available for rental. Free hour long group golf instruction is available between the hours of 11am and 1pm; individual golf lessons are available for a fee at Catalonia Golf Academy.

The Catalonia Caribe Golf Club located 3 minutes from the resort offers 18 holes. The resort's Catalonia Cabeza de Toro course offers 9 holes, a putting green, a driving range and a pitch & putt. Equipment rental (clubs and carts) available; club house with pro shop and bar, golf lessons available daily (1 hour is complimentary).
