Activities and Recreations at JOIA Bavaro by Iberostar, Playa Bavaro

The beachfront JOIA Bavaro by Iberostar hotel offers guests one lake pool with swim-up bar and one activity pool. Guests enjoy complimentary use of catamarans and kayaks, and snorkeling and diving lessons are available in the pool. A variety of popular motorized water sports is available for an additional charge. The resort's Star Friends Team offers sports entertainment and special classes during the day such as Yoga, Tai Chi and spinning. A fully equipped fitness center is also available at the spa. The PADI Dive Center located at the complex offers catamarans, kayaks, and snorkeling and diving lessons in the pool, at no extra charge (reservations preferred). Shows and live music can be enjoyed in the evening.

Golf packages are availablefor purchase that include:

• Transportation to the golf camp
• Green fees
• Shared golf carts
• Drinks and snacks for golfers only (non-golfing companions incur an additional charge)

First tee time is at 7:00 am, and twilight times start at 2:00pm and lasts until closing. Men must wear collared shirts, mid-thigh length shorts and soft spikes. Women must wear appropriate golf attire, including soft spikes. No swimsuits are allowed.
