A Note About the Surf
Although the resort's beach is beautiful and perfect for strolling, sunbathing and sandcastle building, swimming is not allowed due to the strong currents. Water sports of all kinds can be found at nearby safe-swimming beaches.

Enjoy Whale Watching From the Beach or Your Balcony!
Each winter thousands of California Baja Whales make the 8,000 mile voyage from Alaska to the warm lagoons of southern Baja California to give birth to their calves and nurture their young. Between the Baja peninsula and Mexico lies the rich Sea of Cortez, a perfect place to encounter numerous species of whales and a variety of plants and animals found nowhere else in the world. Recently there has been a lot of 'friendly' whale behavior in the lagoons and sometimes the whales even approach within an arms length! These whales can be seen within a few hundred yards of Cabo San Lucas throughout the year, but the most activity occurs during the Gray Whale migration season from January through March.

Unique Experiences

Cabo Art Walk – Thursdays from November – June. Guests meet in the lobby. Extra charge for transportation per person. Tour is 2 hours. The resort’s Entertainment Team gives a tour of the art galleries and downtown San Jose del Cabo

Turtle Release Program – Guests can watch the release of baby turtles on the beach. In Los Cabos, there are two main species: Olive Ridley Turtle (Its main nesting beaches in B.C.S. are located in the municipality of Los Cabos. They nest year-round along these beaches) and Leatherback Turtle (Their nesting season in B.C.S. is from October to April, and they nest about 6 times per season)
