Activities and Recreations at Iberostar Waves Cozumel, Isla Cozumel

In addition to the beautiful lake-style pool area and the beach, Iberostar Waves Cozumel offers a diversity of sports and outdoor activities for guests to enjoy including complimentary windsurfing, kayaking, catamaran-sailing, lighted tennis courts, gym, aerobics, dance classes, waterpolo, billiards, table tennis and beach volleyball. There is also a scuba clinic offered in the swimming pool. Guests may also take part in the following activities, free of charge: aerobics, dance lessons, air rifle shooting and archery, billiards, table tennis, waterpolo, volleyball and a variety of beach games. There is an extra charge for diving and all motorized water sports. You can also rent a car and explore Cozumel or snorkel at nearby Chakanuub park.

On-Site Dive Center
The on-site CDC PADI Gold Palm Resort Dive Center offers guests, for an additional charge, various diving courses from beginner to instructor levels. There are also nitrox courses, local dives and night dives for those who are certified, as well as cenote diving. Equipment rental, snorkel tours and courses are also available. Tours leave right from the Iberostar pier, and diving areas are close. This area has the 2nd largest barrier reef in the world. You can snorkel right off the pier as well.



Scuba Diving
