All guests are welcome to enjoy La Paz Waterfall Gardens Park before it opens and after it closes, the optimal bird and wildlife viewing times. Private walking tours are available.

Day Tours
A number of day tours are available departing directly from the Peace Lodge, ranging from canopy tours to rafting and more. Just a 2-hour scenic drive from Arenal, Peace Lodge is a perfect home base for touring Costa Rica's many sites.

For most tours the resort recommends a light jacket. For canopy, rafting and horseback riding, you will need long pants and a change of clothes is recommended for rafting. You will want to wear hiking shoes or sneakers with good tread for the tours. A pair of hiking sandals are a good option for rafting.
